Why United Way of York County? Why Now?

The issues facing our community today are more complex than any one individual or organization can solve. 

Last Year Thanks to Donations Through United Way of York County:

• 148 nights of shelter were provided to York County homeless youth.
• 684 uninsured children and adults received critical medical and dental care.
• 838 children attended quality afterschool progrms with positive adult role models.
• 6,366 meals were served to hungry York County residents.
• 5,897 York County students and teachers learned how to prevent child abuse.
• 32,143 miles were logged by volunteer drivers taking children and adults to essential appointments.
